“Why does it matter to you? I thought you were just going for a walk.” Well she had him there, but it didn't change the fact that he was gonna follow, after all, she seemed to like to get into trouble. Trouble for Manuel meant fun, and Sophie seemed to enjoy it too, or else she wouldn't be wandering around at night.
“If you’ve really got nothing better to do, mind pointing me in the direction of a tavern or library?" Manuel laughed a bit as he thought back to the only other Tavern that he knew other than Fairy Tail, figuring it was rebuilt by now. Manuel shrugged and figured he could go for a drink, and as long as he made sure she didn't sneak anything, it should be fine. "Well, there is a nice little Tavern a little ways down the street. It isn't as nice as Fairy Tail's, but you seem pretty adamant about not going there, don't ya?"
Manuel thought about it and figured it might have been a bit wrong for him to direct a young girl to a bar rather than a library, but it was already said. "You're a bit young for a bar, aren't you? There is a library not far from here either, so I'll let you decide." Manuel hoped that she chose the bar, it would be much more interesting, and there was some good beer there too.

'Did you hear that Eve? If we listen to him and go to the library, we might find a book about how to break this curse!' Sophie mentally squealed. While the dormant twin had clearly heard Manuel also speak of a tavern down the street, she was still holding on the the glimmer of hope that she could persuade Eve not to go. Eve payed her sister no mind. Instead, a devilish grin formed on her face. Sophie knew this grin all too well. 'Now Eve, you know I hate violence. Please don't go getting into any trouble. You're just going to get hurt. Think about how much we want to break the curse.' 'Of course, but the library isn't going anywhere. It's been a while since I've had any fun,' Eve thought while cracking her knuckles.
Maybe she had underustimated Manuel after all. Maybe he wasn't the goody-goody she had first thought him to be. Don't misunderstand, he was still annoying as hell and she would have rather not had him following her. Her paranoia also still had her convinced that he wasn't just following them out of his own good will. However, Eve was still greatful for the information that might lead to some decent entertainment.
Without another word to either Manuel or her sister, Eve picked up her pace a little bit. Just because they wouldn't let her drink alcohol yet didn't mean that she couldn't find something to do. Surely there would be a drunk or two there who wouldn't be difficult to get riled into a fist fight.

Manuel followed Sophie down the street, luckily they were going in the direction of the bar. He was glad to see that it was rebuilt as they came across the large freshly opened bar. "Well, after you." Manuel said as he opened the door to the bar, smiling. smoke came out of the bar, as the door opened, revealing a bar filled with drunks, and smoke. The smell of cigarettes and stale beer flowed out, attacking their sense of smell.
Manuel walked in, signaling the bartender for a beer, as he pulled out another cigarette, no harm smoking in here, it was already in the air. He grabbed the beer that the bartender slid across the bar, taking a drink and sitting down at a table, and pulling up a chair for Sophie. "Just an offer, if you want to stand."
