Talked it over with Shinzu on it. He not exactly thrill about it since it like a rip off of stellar mage which i kinda agree with him. Neither have a problem of spirits possession weapons however. That is however is pretty neat to do.

Really? Beyond the 'I summon magical monsters to do my bidding' part, I don't see much connection between the two. If anything it's a bit closer to the Take Over and Doll Play mages. The process is you summoning and removing a spirit from a preexisting object from our world and turning it into a summonable creature to use at a later date, one whose power rank is determined by the master's amount of devoted mana. Celestial mages, meanwhile, use magical keys to summon a specific, predetermined creature from another plane of existence. Sure, you have something fighting in your place, but the source of the summon and nature of the of the magic are completely different.

The thing is in the end you’re summoning a monster to do your bidding, which in essence is basically what stellar mages do. You might use talismans while they use keys, but that’s not different enough to warrant the creation of a new mage type unfortunately. In the same way, while stellar mage summons can’t ‘level up’ as the user grows stronger but yours spirits can as their power is directly linked to the users mana, in the end all this seems like is a stronger version of stellar mages.
I know it has its differences, but the Shikigami Riyousha branch you’ve designed is just not unique enough to not be called a stellar mage knock off. Overall the Spirit Blade Smiths and Onmyoji branches are fine, its just the Shikigami Riyousha that’s causing problems because of the obvious similarities to stellar mages so the best thing to do would be to either remove it or rework it into something more unique.

KK, I'll work on that, but for now, you need examples of the work of both Spirit Blade Smiths and Onmyoji, right? I'll get to work on that.
But to me, Shikigami Ryousha:Steller Mages::Ice Alchemy Mages:Ice Elemental Mages

Double: ok, decided to split Onmyoji branch into two sub-branches, Majiken, who use magic designed to weaken the target in combination with typically non-magically based combat techniques to take down targets, and Spirit Manipulators, who are the original version of Onmyoji. Still working on the technique examples

Uh....
But that's beside the point. The technique that the Astronomer used that day soon after became the basis for an entirely new form of magic: Onmyodo. This form of magic is divided into three branches, the first two of which use the same basic technique that the Astronomer used. The first Branch are the Shikigami Riyousha(Shikigami Users); Mages who call forth the normally dormant spirit of an animal, plant, or inanimate object and then place it within a talisman, often made from paper or cloth. From there, the Shikigami can be summoned whenever the user wishes for whatever the task at hand may be. ^ stilll the stellar mage thing issue...

uh... That he's an atronomer? Thats just something I added because one of the basises for this was the real-world onmyoji, who were astronomers themselves. Or is it the fact that they thselves don't fight? In that case, neither doll play mages. I mean, I could see the similarity between Onmyodo and stellar mages if Onmyodo were more akin to the FF style summoner, but they're not. The only similarity between the two is the summoning of magical creatures to fight for them. It's like saying ice alchemy is just a rip off of Ice elemental magic
I'll be editing the history later
