Name: Finding the thief Rank: D Posts Limit: 3+ Objective: The police are having a hard time find a thief. He’s been breaking into houses and stealing rare items. You’re to find him and bring him in. Do not kill him/her or it will be count as fail mission. The thief is said to have no offense attacks. Reward: 30 Jewels Exp: 10 exp The town seemed much more alive outside, ever since Fairy Tail had been rebuilt. It was after all a big attraction to people. Men and women came from all over the world to join Fairy Tail and use their skills to help better their lives. That wasn't Manuel's reason though, he simply wanted to test his power against other mages, and Manuel assumed that wasn't the reason that the man walking beside him wanted in either. From their battle before, Zieg had had the audacity to give him advice. A kid like that talking down to Manuel, the thought was ridiculous to Manuel. However, it was strange, why this man felt the need to join in on a mission like catching a petty thief? It was said that the thief had no offensive magic, so it wasn't going to be all that difficult. Help was not neccesary, yet Manuel accepted his help out of curiosity. "You know we can't kill this thief right?" Manuel was sure he understood, but felt like checking just in case. After all, he had overdone it earlier in the bar, and Manuel considered it his fault the whole thing started any way. Manuel didn't even have an idea how they were going to catch a thief, when there were no clues as to where he would be.

The sun was starting to set. Slowly making it way it down while the moon was slowly making it way up. It was such a nice setting and great looking twilight, or at least for Zieg. The air was refreshing unstuffy. The taste of the air taste like steak. Due to someone having a cook out near by them.
The warm air was comforting to Zieg to almost put him asleep if he wasn’t on the job. The cool breeze was the perfect touch on this little setting. Everyone was still lively as ever, despite the presence of a twilight. Zieg stands near Manual. Being only five feet away from him, but he was able to touch him if he reached out.
Zieg was on a mission request to find a thief. According to their intelligence they were given on the request board. The thief had no offense of any kind. Killing him would mean they fail their mission. Zieg had no intention of kill the thief. Zieg was planning to give much information he can get to find the thief and then turn him in for the reward.
Zieg was serene as the ocean and sky. He look over to Manual and he comment they can’t the thief. Only merely stating the obvious. “I’m aware of that. So don’t get too rash about this and end up killing him. First, we need to find information on his location”

It seemed like just yesterday that Mao had left her birthcity and come out into the world looking to gain experience and futhur her learning. However, that was not the case. It had been quite a few months since she had left seeking adventure, but the recent feeling helped wane the longing for home she was sure would come. For, she had never been this far away from the city. Perhaps she had never even left the city before. But she was finding life plentiful with adventures and new discoveries everyday. Sadly, though, Mao still hadn't found a guild she liked.
Today Mao was wearing a pink spagetti strap with various sized golden circles filling the empty loneliness that was colored rose-like. Dark blue shorts took from the pink and matched with her eyes, which were framed with golden curly locks. The setting sun gave her hair a brownish tint, and took from the shine it had with the sun full overhead. Holding her hair out of her face was a pink, beaded elastic band. It tied a smll section up above her forhead, and let it wave on to meet the rest at the side of her face. On her feet were fresh pink ballet shoes to match her shirt, and a pretty little smile covered her lips. And in one hand she held her violin case, big but light as she ran.
Just coming from the police station, Mao held a piece of paper explaining a mission that had long since been on a guild's mission list, but hadn't been taken. So, they opened it up to nomadic mages, and here she was. Chasing after a thief, a D ranked mission sadly. However, with her aquired skills and spells, Mao felt this job would be more than easy. So it was just a time killer. Running and jumping from the roof tops, Mao scanned the city. She was alone, so her shy faquade was gone. She searched the ground below for every detail she could see. All seemed well in the more populated portions of the city. Time to check out the uninhabited parts.
Running swiftly, Mao appeared upon the last roof top. The next was several hundred meters away, and she wasn't in the mood to suicide jumps. Actually, she never was. Looking down, Mao saw two men below. They were talking about a thief, it seemed, and Mao was more than interested for clues. After all, she didn't want to waste her Child's Fiddle spell when she wasn't in the right area. A city without trees definately made it easier though. Smirking, Mao latched on her hooked whip to the sill of the building she stood atop of and scaled down most of the way. When she was close enough to the ground, the girl jumped released her whip. Once it was away, Mao turned to see the two men.
Approaching them, she held up the piece of paper and asked, "Sirs. Do you know of the thief that the police are after?" Before they would have time to read the paper she held up to them, she pulled it back and smiled sweetly. She was on a mission. She had to remind herself that in order to stop herself from shrinking away in silence. Slowly she felt her cheeks burn with the firmilar blush she always had.

To think that Zieg would suggest it was Manuel who would end up killing the thief, if anything Zieg would be the one. Manuel threateningly reached into the pocket of his pants and pulled out a cigarette, "Don't make me light up." Manuel knew how to annoy people, it was pretty easy for him. However, nothing was as fun as messing with Zieg.
Before Manuel could follow through with his threat the voice of a girl reached his ears. Manuel's glare dissapeared as he quickly flicked away the cigarette. It wasn't in him to smoke around women, Manuel's face grew softer as he turned to speak to the woman, only to find a young girl.
The girl was dressed in rather a lot of pink, almost too much pink for Manuel's eyes, but he would never say so. It also confused Manuel why she had a violin in her possesion, maybe it was important to her. "Oh, why hello miss." Manuel knelt down slightly so as to speak at eye level. "We happen to be on this mission as well, if you happen to need some protection, we may finish this job together?"
Manuel figured it was simply a case of a girl trying to play mage. After all she didn't look like much in the way of fighting. Then again it was hard to tell at this day and age.

Zieg looks at the girl and she seems rather thin, but average for her height and bone structure. Her skin being white, but not so pale. Her hair being curly with pink beads and her hair can go down to her chest. Her clothing was too much pink and her eyes were rather large. Her eyes stuck out more than anything, for Zieg.
“No, we don’t have any information, yet. It would behooves us both if we work together on this,” said Zieg. Zieg looked at Manual and saw Manual flirting. “Stop flirting with her, Manual. We’re on a mission. So get your act together and start gathering some information.” Zieg then moved on.
Zieg walked forward. Each of his steps hitting the hard pavement. Making a *thump thump* sound as he walk. Zieg looks back to see if they are coming. “Shall we start this mission now,” ask Zieg. Zieg thought for a moment forgot he hasn’t made an introduction to her yet. Zieg took off his glove and showed the tattoo of fairytail. “I’m Zieg Locke of Fairytail. Also, known as Angel to some.” Zieg eyes gave upon the buildings. He started to this of a plan. Maybe if they find somewhere that might be the thief target. If he can find there and wait until night fall. They can capture it. But which house? Or maybe the others had their own plan?

"Yes I am with Fairy Tail, people have called me Manny, although not recently." Mao repeated his nickname in her head. Nope, she hadn't heard of this guy either. Of course, that was no big surprise. And then the guy turned to follow 'Angel'. It seemed it was time to go. But, as Mao thought about it, it seemed foolish to team up with these guys. It was such an easy job, why would they need her. Or rather, why would she need them? That was it, she didn't. She knew how to handle a purely defensive thief. It wasn't rocket science, after all.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too Mao. Now shall we get to gathering that information.....where do we start anyways?" Mao tipped her head politely and then looked up to view the two men. Angel looked rather irritated, and then before she knew it he was going into a coffee shop to fix a picture. Giggling innocently at this, Mao turned to face Manual and her violin case she had forgotten about. Spinning it around under her palm once, Mao unclicked the latches and laid it on the ground all in once swift motion. Gently she put on her shoulder rest and tightened her bow. The two men could do things their way if they wanted to. But Mao was going to do things her's.
Turning to face away from Manual, Mao took a deep breath and drew the bow across the A string. She flinched at the resulting sound. It was out of tune :P Smiling knowingly, Mao tuned the instrument in time for Angel to return. As he went off to question a couple, the young violinst took another deep, dramatic breath and drew her bow once again. This time a single note pierced the air before the bow flew across the strings in a barrage of notes that created an extremely catch but difficult tune. Mao's eyes were closed in concentration. Soon motions and life forces began to become visible under her eyelids. The couple and Angel were moving. Manual didn't seem to be at this time. However, as Mao looked around with her eyes closed, she saw little life around. But, off in the distance, a figure was running.
Smirking, Mao changed her tune to a higher tune with more tone sooner. It was obvious the tune was more confident and intricate than her last. This was Mao's true personality coming through. When she determined this was most likely who they were looking for, Mao stopped her music suddenly and swayed horridly. Quickly she placed her instrument in her case but fell to the ground in the process. Soon after though, she finished packing up her instrument and got up. Turning to Manual, Mao said, "Asking is much to slow. Let's go."
Rushing off in the direction she had seen the man run, the young girl didn't stop to see if the men were going to follow or not. [/blockquote]

'Flirting,' Manuel thought, 'I was just being nice.' What did Zieg think he was a pervert or something? The age difference was much too big here. Granted she was cute in a little sister way, but only in a little sister way. Manuel ended up dwelling on the matter for quite awhile, finding himself realizing that he had been listening to very little of what was going on. Manuel came back to the conversation as Zieg was introducing himself.
“I’m Zieg Locke of Fairytail. Also, known as Angel to some.” Angel, yeah sure, Manuel prefered the term......, a term not suitable to use at the moment what with a woman err girl present. "I have never heard of Angel from Fairytail. And I assume the one you referred to as Manual is also from Fairytail?". The sound of his name brought Manuel back to the conversation "Yes I am with Fairy Tail, people have called me Manny, although not recently."
"Well. It's a pleasure to meet you both. I'm Mao, a Dancer Mage. I don't really have a guild, so there's nothing much to introduce myself with.", not in a guild yet? Interesting, thought Manuel as he began walking after Zieg. "It's a pleasure to meet you too Mao," Manuel clapped his hands, trying to focus "now shall we get to gathering that information.....where do we start anyways?"

Their mini chit-chat was only wasting time. But at least it was out of the way. Now for the plan to find this so called thief. “The first thing we need to do is start asking questions. Not to anything relating to find the thief, but information to whoever have something rare or rich. Our little thief has been aiming for them. So it only make sense. We should spread out and meet up once all three of us have gotten enough information.”
Zieg, look over to a wall inside of a coffee shop. There was a picture that wasn’t even. Even though it wasn’t even related to their mission. His habit and perfectionist kick in. He walked into the shop, ignoring the other two if they have anything to say. Only a couple of people watch him come into the shop.
Zieg lifts his hands onto the picture and straightens it out and he had left the shop. A few people gave him the “what the f@$#” look. Zieg couldn’t help it. It just how he was. Zieg looks around and walks over to a few people near by. “Excuse me, I know this may sound weird. But if you were a thief, where would you hit in town?” The two people Zieg walk up to seem to be a couple. “Uh...I would George graymen? He just recently bought a huge painting that rare and cost a lot of money,” says the young man who seems confused.

Manuel was stunned by the sound that came from behind him, he didn't even have to turn around to know that it was Mao's Violin. Where had this girl learned to play? True the first note was out of tune, but the rest was almost unbelievable. Even when the tune changed, Manuel couldn't help but smile at the sound of this music.
"Asking is much to slow. Let's go." Manuel wasn't sure what just happened, but a plan that required as little involvement as possible from Zieg was fine with Manuel. After all why would he want to spend so much time with a man he saw as a rival? Chasing off after Mao, Manuel looked back at the restaurant. Whatever he was in a good mood "Zieg, we got a hit, you comin' or can we leave ya?" Manuel didn't wait for an answer, he didn't really have time, Mao was quite a fast runner.

Zieg wanted to touch the sky some times. Even though Zieg could make it up there. The place he wanted to touch is never there. A certain part of the sky where he had no worries. To feel warm inside and live comfortably. Even have every Fairytail member there with him. Would that place be heaven, Zieg wondered.
Zieg shook it off and came back to reality. "Fine, go ahead do your own thing. We can see whose method be the quickest of finding this so call thief," said Zieg, walking away and start to look for clues. Of some kind. He talked to all kinds of different people and looked up much as information he could find on where the thief hit already.
He looked through newspaper of past hits. He had asked everyone he had met where they think he would hit next. After much wondering and searching. He had come across a large mansion. The owner is known to have many one of kind items and having a lot of money. Having a large gate and what looked like an hour long walk to the place itself!
The grass was perfectly cut and there were some guards here and there. Zieg wonder, if the thief would really go here. Zieg wasn't too sure yet until time passes. Another question in Zieg mind would the other two makes it to the same location?

Manuel and Mao had found the thief, but Zieg seemed to have not followed. It wasn't much of a problem, the thief had no chance against even one member of their group, let alone two. Mao had tracked him down to an alley behind a pretty fancy looking place, she had some useful abilities when it came to finding people it seemed. The thief turned out to be a kid, not much younger than Mao herself it seemed, and he put up no fight at all, which was no problem with Manuel.
The thief was dragged down to the police station, and booked for his crimes. Manuel left Mao there to take care of the thief while he went to look for Zieg, to let him know that the job was done.

Ooc: Going to be a bit short
Zieg, after a while had gotten bored and it seems he didn’t come here. Zieg was sure he would. It was his MIO. Zieg left the area and went to find the others. As he walks, he heard from a few towns folks that the thief has been caught. No wonder he had never came, Zieg thought to himself.
Zieg browses around the area a bit and it would seem the other two had gotten a hold of him. Down an alley it, or so he had heard. Zieg had found Manual. Zieg waves at him slightly. “It would seems you two have gotten a hold of him before me. None-the-less, mission accomplish.” A local police had came over and gave them their reward. Afterwards, Zieg had left.
-MISSION FINISH. REWARDS ARE GIVEN-
