The former Guild master has grown too old and unable to keep up with most youths of today. As a result, the guild master selected one of his members to take over his duties. Though despite this the man he had selected disappeared without a trace and his whereabouts are currently unknown. The guild master choose to wait until his arrival and if he does not make it in time, then he will choose another to gain ownership of the guild. While waiting, the members have gotten a little inpatient and destroyed FairyTail's hideout. It has been repaired finally just recently.
