Shinjitu stood there, his body engulfed by the shadows that the looming trees created and his eyes viewed forward into what would seem like forever. He seemed completely frozen in place, listening to the occasional ruffle of leaves that seemed to occur in quite the usual pattern. There would be about a minute of leaves rustling before, what he assumed, the beast had came across something to eat and would spend about five minutes devouring anything there. It also became obvious that there was more than just one beast there, since they seemed to follow the same pattern. This created quite the symphony of sounds as leaves were rustled from the beasts moving and birds chirped out in the open air. Everything seemed to run in one complete pattern, move, stop, eat, move and all of it seemed to occur at what one would assume as random intervals but in reality they were just one huge pattern.
His shades on the other hand had quickly moved through the forest, ending up in the camp once again as they landed and gently floated around, viewing it. They seemed to study everything rather precise as they noticed every little bit of detail that seemed to be out of the ordinary. Each one drew their spears as they began to tear the place apart, ripping everything to shreds as they looked for the opponent. Yet when it seemed that the opponent had moved on, it was almost instantaneous that Noir understood that his enemy had moved. His shades acted completely on hivemind, sending bits of information to him while also working under his will as the head of the pack. Though what was horrible was that they could only go so far before they eventually began disappearing yet now Noir knew that his enemy was out an about. With a quickly and seemingly normal snap of the fingers, the shades disappeared until needed.
Suddenly different processes began to shoot through Noir's head, had the enemy stalked after his shade or had he retreated deeper into the forest. His attention instantly returned to his surroundings though since he expected who ever it is to come after his shades rather than flee. Sure this match wasn't timed by the longer they remained in the forest, the more likely they are to get hesitant and make a mistake. Yet Noir didn't really care so much and wouldn't mind being in this forest for quite some time and as such had remained completely level headed rather than making any rash moves. Then finally something seemed to be completely off with his surroundings, he felt as if something was watching him, ready to make a move. It was only when he heard the rustle of leaves that he suddenly jolted, quickly sinking into the shadows before quickly crawling out from the shadows at the base of a tree.
He had inadvertently moved closer to Vess and in fact had appeared out from the base of a tree about ten feet away from him. The only problem was that he was on the opposite side of the tree facing Vess and Noir had quickly taken a liking to the tree and was leaning his back against it. He wasn't entirely sure on if it was actually Vess who had attacked him or that he had gotten so nervous that he instantly plunged himself through the shadows and to this new location. All he knew was that he probably wasn't alone and he sure as hell wasn't going to lose this test.

OK, before I make my verdict here. Please take note, I'm NOT picking sides here. I'm playing as a neutral party.
My verdict is that it possible for him to dodge the way he did. I know a great deal of paranoia. The feeling of being watched and feeling unsafe. When someone feels their being watched so much and unsafe. They feel likes going into their shell or anywhere to feel safe. Also, if the distance between you is about 20 meters. That's a whole lot of distance to cover. Meaning Vess have to be sprinting to make it and kinda being noisy. You can argue that the forest is itself loud. However, with that distance. It possible for Shin to just notice him in some form.
If you guys like me to make other verdicts, just ask me. After next Vess post, I'll post again to state what has happened AND using the traps and animals in the forest.

Here I see it after all the pms. Reading both posters posts. Gathering all the information.
Vess was in a camp site area. Though the distance between Vess and Shin was never mentioned at all. Since Shin made it to the camp area. It could be assumed about ten meters. Vess backtrack his area and safely gotten I would say about 5 meters close to Shin. Being a thick forest as it is, five meters is about 16.4 feet away from Shin. Is it possible to make that distance within 6 seconds? Yes, even if it was 20 meters. ANYONE, could make it. I even went as far did the math.
I didn't think, he would make it, even with speed specialist, but he had indeed made it with ease. Shin ghosts at the camp site destroyed the place, but they never told, Shin any of the information they had found. Because they never told that him in person. He's able to send information to them over telepathy, but not the other way around as well. The area around Shin is a beast eating another beast.
Chirping birds in the area. Leaves ruffling a bit. There is noise around the area, but not enough to make someone deaf to any other sound. So while Vess was running, he had to be making some kind of sound out of the normal pattern of sound in the area around shin. From stepping on sticks, leaves, possible hitting some bushes. Maybe, even possibly hear the foot steps if someone is listening hard enough.
Vess is able to see Shin and able to hear Shin. While Shin is standing there, hearing everything around him and possibly even the foot steps. One could even assume a monster of the forest is about to attack him. The feeling of being watched can be very strong. More than you might think. I don't really think anyone is immune of becoming paranoia. With the stress of not wanting to lose, seeing monsters ahead of him eating another. Could be attacked at any given time. From Vess or a random monster in the area. Hearing the odd pattern noise some twigs rapidly breaking and some bushes. I do this it is possible for him to go into his shadow and be scary cat.
This is my final verdict.

You seem to be failing to take into account a vague distance has already been established. I'm surprised I even need to mention it again.
Shin's Character was able to hear Mao's Character's Song Spell with fair clarity, Vess was not. Shin heard the faint sound of a boar tripping a trap faintly. Regardless of how you want to argue it, they are clearly much farther than ten meters apart and if you claim Shin can send four shades into that distance operating normally, by that same token Vess can cover that gap easily and without much noise at all. As I have already argued via PM, there is very little evidence to suggest Shin's Character was anywhere near paranoia level stress, or was even paying much attention to his surrounds; plainly staring forward.
Finally, if Shin wants to claim extrasensory perception as his only means of distinguishing Vess among his own established rabble, I officially declare Meta-Gaming on his part.

Ammy, shut up mate. Lol. You saw the sense in leaving it to the admin for a decision and now you're picking a fight with him over it? Even if you're right, the decisions been made. You should know better than to keep arguing.
EDIT; Sorry for barging into the thread, I just noticed what was being said and thought I'd lend a hand. I'm pretty positive Vess wouldn't listen to any of you anyway, there's always a chance with me. Lol.

This is EXACTLY why I didn't want to jump into this at all, Vess. I wanted you two to decide this among your self's for this tests and leave me out of this. You asked me to decide this. I've looked over everything and taken both points in. In my opinion, even after over everything. He could do it. I'm sorry you if you disagree about this, but that's my last verdict. You two should keep going, and please leave me out of this until it over Countless who I pick, I look like the bad guy. Also, -gives a cookie to Zuro-

since it more than pass the two days...Its may turn
The ruffling leaves in the trees flings into the air by the wind current. Nearby butterflies and birds flew off from sensing danger. A large werewolf monster appeared running toward both Shin and Vess. Around it body is many bombs. Then, the monster hit a bear trap and fell over. If Vess don't get away soon, he could be caught into this large explosion. If Shin don't away in time, this explosion will destroy all the trees and all shadows within the area. Even eliminate the shadow shin is in. Causing his own death. Can you guys get away within 30 meters fast enough and watch out for traps in other bombs in time?

Noir found himself breathing heavily, his back against the tree as he had scooted up to the base, sitting against it as he was completely unsure on where his enemy was. It was quite the scary thing, one hit meant that his journey was over and he wouldn't be able to become the Guild Master of Fairy Tail. Just with that Noir found himself unnerved and rather hectic as he had only moments ago been pretty stable, at least until he thought of such things. It was sort of like a game, it was all down to one thing and everyone was on the edge of their seats. Adrenalin pumping, reaction times increasing for it was all down to this one fact of who can get who first. His hand clenched against the ground as he felt like he was at a major disadvantage since he couldn't tell what was coming from where but even now his eyes caught the sight of something moving.
It was a small butterfly, his eyes watching it as he smiled yet something about this seemed wrong as the butterfly took off from the spot it was in without cause. Though this does tend to happen, it was much more rare and he couldn't help but raise from his spot as he heard the sound of what seemed to be something running through the woods. His eyes went wide when he noticed the thing running through the woods, a rather terrifying beast who seemed to have explosives on it. "Holy Sh-!" Noir found himself saying, his legs quickly kicking off the ground as he turned in the other direction and began to run. He got maybe two or three feet from where he was before he heard what sounded like a trap engaging which made him quickly dive for some shadows of a tree. Then suddenly he disappeared from the spot, the shadows seemingly becoming liquid and then solid as Noir disappeared. He soon found himself spit out of the shadows, getting as far away as he could from the beast at the range of about thirty five meters. He found himself on the ground, breathing heavily as he laid there as he was surely unable to use magic after that transportation. In fact he probably had only enough for one shade who would need to remain close or a teleportation to about five meters. Anything else would be for naught as he was rendered unable to use complicated magic.

Shin made it safely pass the explosion and even out of the forest. To see a bright and sunny day. Ahead of him was a path that would take him straight to FairyTail without worry of anything. Vess on the other hand, didn't move at all. Could he be scared frozen in place? For whatever reason, for standing there he had gotten hit from the explosion and died.
Winner, shin
