The area is a large forest. Very thick with trees, variety of animals, and many bushes. Watch out, this forest is known for having number about of bear traps, wire explosive traps, and ravage animals that can attack at anytime. The sky is bright with some clouds. There is little chance of rain. This is the final testing ground and where three fighters would stand.
Rules: No attacking on the first post. If you get hit ONCE, you’re out of the fight. Including the animals and traps. If your opponent manage to punch you, your out. If the opponent manage to hit you with a spell, your out. Who ever don’t get hit will win. You have to two days to post or you will be skipped

Interesting is certainly one word that could describe this development of events... One day I'm writing for some sort of exam and now I'm in the middle of a forest somewhere, with two other Fairy Tailers fighting for the position of Guild Master... Have the rituals surrounding picking a new GM always been this weird...?
Currently stalking through the underbrush of various kinds of trees, heavy boots crunched green underfoot as Vess sauntered somewhat happily. Given his instructions, the Iron Dragon knew what he needed to do; hit some people. Dressed in his usual black cargoes and boots, Vess took some time in preparation when he heard where they were going, and for what reason. His entire upper-body was caked in wax camouflage. Brown, green, black, another green and yet another green turned him into one with mother nature. Of course, that wouldn't really matter if he activated his Iron Skin technique, being covered in shiny metal and all.
As far as he was aware the three contestants where dropped in haphazardly, without much planning into their respective regions, fillings or distances from each other. Although, Vess counted nearly an hour since he started wandering around, so they could have been anywhere really. From what he did see of the forest, it was big. He could have been coming up toward someone now... Or he could have been the prey... With that thought in mind Vess quickly froze and after a few moments of silence, leapt to find cover behind the nearest tree to press against it.
Nothing.
As breath slowly returned to his lungs, Vess caught sight of a wire running up the length of the bark. Several inches from the rough texture, it was clearly strained and part of a much bigger whole. Curiosity tugged at his heartstrings. To pull, or not to pull. That is the question... This would take some serious consideration.

Noir found himself in quite the location, a forest... a rather large forest at that. He was competing about two other guild members of Fairy Tail for the title of Guild Master, something which Noir sought out to achieve. He wasn't in this for anything other than that which he believed that he was better fit for this position than the other members that he had seen up until now. Diligent, Analytical and Hard Working, he viewed everyone as equals until certain individuals marked themselves as cast offs. Even now he remained in one spot of the woods, standing there in his usual get up of a black robe which went from head to foot. His violet eyes pierced through the woods looking at the different colors, designs and watching for any sight of movement. He believed that since one hit would generally knock him out of this contest, it was best to not get hit.
He went about this by being still, a forest meant animals which counted as a hit if they attacked and knowing this place there was probably a lot of traps out and about. So through this he has remained in the same exact spot for nearly an hour now, sitting when ever his legs got tired and then standing when they felt better. The less movement that he made, the less likely some one would see him trudging through the bush and the least likely an animal might catch him attack. It even made it hard to fall into traps for he was sure that he would need to be walking through the woods just to get hit. To him, being quiet, still and observant would win him this competition.

Mao. Was. Terrified. This was the last and final day of the competition to be FairyTail's new Guild Master. And the final test was a freakin' match. A one hit match! Mao had gotten better tan her family at offensive type moves, but it still wasn't going to be enough. Doubting herself was about the worst thing she could do now, but it kept her on her toes. The longer she stayed in, the happier it would make her. It would be more than she expected, at least.
Wandering through the forest full of animals and traps didn't seem like the best idea, but really, what choice did she have? The young teenaged girl walked slowly, dressed in a black, knee length pair of shorts that were loose and allowed her to move quickly without annoyance. Her tank top was an aqua blue, and she wore white tennis-shoes. Through the handle to her violin case strung a wooden staff. The staff laid across one shoulder and the violin case against her back. Mao was rather quiet as she scanned all possible areas she would walk on and through in the next few seconds.
Deciding eventually, after hours, that she was not going to find anyone like this, Mao stopped and sat down on the ground. Pulling her staff from her shoulder, she rubbed where the stick had pressed down and rolled her neck around. "Ouch.." she said before pulling the staff out from the violin case. Smirking to herself, the young girl clicked open the case and stared at the velvet covering her violin. Taking a deep breath, Mao quickly pulled the violin from it's case and readied the bow. Within a few minutes, it was ready to play. Pushing herself up to her knees, Mao closed her eyes. If she started to play, animals and the other two contestants would easily find her. That is, if she didn't find them first.
Mao opened her eyes quickly and drew the bow across her strings furiously, creating a barrage of sounds that deserved nothing more than fire in the background. Closing her eyes slowly, Mao watched as images began to appear. Zooming past inverted colored ground, Mao saw numerous dangerous animals that she noted not to go near. Eventually she found a person sitting, but however he was not moving. Strange. How smart he thought he was. This immediately made her mad.
Opening her eyes, Mao sprang up. Only to, immediately, fall to the right. In a desperate attempt to save her precious violin, she trust it up and fell on her back. As soon as her back hit the ground, she heard the whisper of ropes being pulled. Soon she realized she had fell on a wire and was triggering a trap. Immediately, she rolled over several times and started to crawl away. Only, too late, the ground beneath her gave way and before she knew what was happening, she was clinging to the edge of a hole for dear life. The ground beneath her was very deep, and she didn't think she'd survive dropping down while disoriented. Trying to think fast, knowing the trap had created a large booming sound, Mao pulled herself up and ran to her case. As quick as she could she packed up and climbed up a tree with her staff. Her violin case she had left burried under a bunch of leaves.
All hell was about to go down.

In the end, Vess decided it probably would have been a bad idea to pull on that string. He had no idea what it was connected to or, more importantly, how loud it could have been. In such a situation, it seemed to him that silence was his friend. So, he left it alone.
Trudging merrily along, Vess let his arms swing by his sides as he walked and only managed several meters before something behind him stirred. An animal of some sort was already poised and ready to charge, snarling and slobbering over the upcoming meal. Unfortunately for the boar, it rushed straight through the tripwire Vess himself had only just departed. His state of panic, as he swiveled round bringing up his Iron Skin in a defensive reflex, was for naught as an overlarge log appeared overhead. Silently released, the giant hunk of tree swooped down and crushed the poor animal's face with a squeal, taking it off it's feet and launching it into the sky. He didn't even hear it land, poor thing.
Somewhat distraught at the sight before him Vess sweat-dropped, lowered his Iron Skin technique and slowly looked from side to side, careful not to move if he could manage it. Nothing. The forest continued as it was. Uncomfortable by now, Vess sucked in breath through his clenched teeth and turned back around. These traps could kill someone! Something had to be done to avoid that, in his case anyway.
After a short while of very, very careful stalking, Vess came upon a fairly flat, even and not too densely packed area of forest. With his eyes peeled, Vess scanned the oval-like area for traps and the like; nothing. As an extra precaution, the outer rim; nothing. This space was perfect for him. Setting to work, Vess utilized several techniques he possessed to clear that oval of everything that could get in his way; ripping up shrubs and plants, cutting down overhanging branches etc. Soon he had fashioned himself a little den nearly four meters at it's longest and two meters at it's widest. This would be where he made his stand, that is, if people found him. All throughout his trek, he'd barely heard anything. It was rather boring.

Noir found himself sitting on the ground now, his violet eyes staring forward into seemingly nothingness as he seemed to space out slightly where he sat. Though his senses remained open as his eyes continued to gather no information at all and even now he knew he had the advantage even if he sat still. He heard what sounded like furious music in the distance, the sound rather distant but still audible. Then suddenly a nice bang rang out through the area which alerted him to the fact that some one must have set off a trap in the distance. Then the faint sound of squealing came to his ears which caused him to look up as he saw what looked like a boar soaring overhead. Noir's mouth only sat slightly open as his violet eyes tracked the hog until it soon enough became hidden by the branches and leaves of the trees.
It seemed that even the animals here had the tendency to fall into the traps set up by who ever decided to put them up her for food or goods. Though he wouldn't be so easily moved from his spot as he only shifted slightly as to try to bring back feeling to his butt after sitting on the hard and rock sprawled ground for so long. He knew that he had the upper hand when he compared himself to who he believed to be the other contenders. The forest had trees which meant plenty of shadows and one of his spells was designed for him to move through the shadows. This meant that if he saw some one he could merely wander through the shadows to the opposite side of the woods. In the end he would make it impossible for anyone to fight him unless he was sure that the person he saw was the last one aside from him. Sure his ideas and how he was playing this out was cheap, but it was much better than just wandering around aimlessly looking for people.

Time passed and little stirred for the sleeping dragon. Nature seemed to open above Vess, allowing heat and light to warm his bones and lift his spirits. If only his attention span, or stomach for that matter, was charged by rays of sunshine. At that moment, among the stillness, a young buck rustled the shrubs outside his ring, lightly crunching the dead and dying leaves and twigs strewn across the forest floor. Of course he had already been aware of the animal, it's scent carried on the wafts of air passing through the trees. It was only at that time did he consider lunch.
Quickly killing the animal with a bullet through the head, neck and chest, Vess quickly began to skin, gut and prepare the meat for roasting. Fashioning himself a reasonable sized campfire, aided by the metal he could produce to ultimately retain and expel the heat fire could transfer to the metal. Vess was just about ready. Draining the limbs of blood first, Vess had to wait until both the fire and meat were ready. It was only then Vess realized something; he could smell them!
In such a remote and untouched piece of the world, the scent of a human stood out tremendously. The animals would be able to tell, perhaps that's what drew the male deer closer to Vess, to investigate such a foreign smell? If his reasoning was accurate, it could be probable more animals would seek not only himself out but the other competitors as well, and not all of them as meek and mild as lunch. Sitting by the fire, Vess watched the smoke rise as he continued thought.
It's only a matter of time... I'd better get ready...

Noir's hand clenched against the dirt, pulling up not only the ground but also pulling a couple of plants from the forest floor. He observed the green plants and the brown dirt in his hand before turning it over and gently letting the dirt from the gaps in his fingers. It seemed like the forest was rather quiet except for the occasional cracks of branches on the ground. It was now getting rather boring waiting for some one to come after him and gently he drew circles in the pile of dirt he made. "Fighting is so bothersome." He said, looking up in front of him, shadows from the trees seemed to collect before hooded figures rose. Three of them in total, they were around the same height of a normal human and each one of them could put up a rather good fight when at hand to hand or even close weapons. The cloaks every once in a while swayed to reveal the orb, their only weakness and they were pretty much odor less, except for any they might attract, and each had a mind of their own. "Go forth."
A faint growl came from the three before two quickly shot from their spot, flying into the trees as they began to move, rustling the leaves as they moved in a pair. The third one only seemed to hover close, keeping guard over Noir at this time as to make sure no one or something decided to attack. The two seemed to move rather quickly through the trees, their movements made the leaves move as if a light wind was moving through the area. The two had noticed at this time smoke rising from some where, meaning something with a bit of intelligence had a fire, it was for them to touch them. One hit was all they needed.
The one that stayed at Noir's side made slight whispers, a spear like weapon appearing in it's hand. Rather useless for they could only make one before they were gone and they were breakable with just enough force. It spun the spear in it's hand before it struck out at a tree, missing it by a foot as the tip disappeared in the bush. A loud yelp rang out as the shade brought back the spear, coated in blood as something ran away from in the bushes. His contender would have a lot of trouble with Noir if he decided to come after him.

The first matter of business the young white topped Dragon Slayer had to deal with? Why, relieving oneself of course! Taking a few moments of privacy, Vess thought it wise to find a nice spot relatively close by to take a leak. Granted, that only took him several paces outside his little bright oval but it was as far as he dared go into the unknown, especially when the food was almost ready. It would have been most inconvenient if, during the fray of melee combat, he suddenly felt the urge to drop everything right then and there or worse still; an oddly relieving warm sensation trickle down his thigh.
Sighing that contented sigh, Vess began to fix himself up and make headway back to camp, that is, before he noticed something rather odd. Two somethings in fact. Dark ethereal orbs of energy swooped into camp and almost seemed lifeless, despite their life only moments before. Little capes swayed gently with the blowing breeze as they, Vess imagined, scouted the area in their own specific way. Hidden and silent behind a collection of trees and greenery, Vess quickly thought.
They know someone was here... That was the point in all this, I guess, to draw someone here. The question is; do I let them go and tell whoever is controlling them where I am? If they haven't already somehow... Then again, if I do destroy them, who's to say that won't alert whoever it is to this position anyway?
Stretching out two fingers, Vess decided he'd rather have whoever it is here on his terms rather than theirs, and aimed to kill them both quickly and silently with his bullet ability. Five down, five to go. He'd need to give himself some time if he expected to use the bullet ability consistently in the time ahead.

Both of the shades merely fell from the trees, ending up in what looked to be a camp site and slowly both of them pulled out two long spears. They seemed to study the area, poking at things with their spears while they let out gentle whispers of what was supposedly supposed to be them talking. Both of them looked at each other as it seemed that no one was around in this camp site which made them grumble. That was until suddenly one of them seemed to burst into smoke, the other one had what felt like small objects flying through it's ethereal body. One had been lucky enough to not be hit in the orb but the other wasn't quite so lucky, this attack made the shade quickly fly upwards, once again disappearing into the trees. It seemed to be going some where, probably returning back to the one who had told it to move out and about.
Noir himself was sitting on the ground once again, the shade that had stayed behind was hovering near by as it merely kept guard of him. Every once in a while it would stab at bushes, causing leaves to rustle as what ever was near ran away from being stabbed at by such a sharp point. He had sent the other shades out to hunt down his opponent and he wondered what was going to happen should one of them die. Would the other one run away and try to get him to help? Who knows, maybe the shade would run away and that would make his opponent chase after it and then they could finally have a fight. Though his opponent would be in for hell considering Noir was still full of energy and strength considering he hadn't move from the same spot the whole time.

Noir looked up as he heard rustling in the leaves up in the trees, an eye brow rose as he saw the form of one of the shades that he had sent out. It quickly landed in front of him before it just emptily stared at him which Noir merely closed his eyes as if he understood what was happening. "So... you found him?" Noir merely asked, standing up slowly before he dusted himself off, his violet eyes looked in the direction that his shade had gone. He rose two hands and quickly two black orbs appeared in them, a quick toss of the orbs and quickly two black robes appeared around the orbs. A faint growling noise came from the two new robbed orbs as Noir chuckled while the shade that had protected him began to move towards the new group. "Well... go get him and take him out." Noir merely said, laughing to himself as the shades seemed to bow and once again leave.
Quickly the shades flew up into the leaves in the trees, moving through them like the wind as the previous two had done when hunting down Noir's opponents. Yet they knew where to go to find his opponent since one of them knew the way after escaping from the camp. These four planned on overwhelming the enemy in numbers and taking him out.

Time was not on Vess' side. Luckily however, certain other factors were. For one, the wind was fair. The scent of his opponent was readily available for him to track, and the general direction the shadowy soldier made for confirmed the displacement the angled breeze created. Although, that would correct itself the closer he came to his target. Second, the nature of the creature revealed the nature of it's creator. Without substantial form, or scent, and the troves of books he had read on magic and it's many subdivisions, even a novice could have deduced Vess was facing against a Shadow Mage. One that could produce a multitude of soldiers, he was sure.
Racing across uneven terrain was fraught with numerous pitfalls on it's own, add to that the danger of traps and a biased clock however and you're facing one ugly mother. Fortunately for Vess, he was essentially backtracking over ground he had already covered, and was thus fairly certain of the dirt beneath his feet. There would also be a time gap available to him, one he wouldn't even know about. His opponent was to learn of his little campsite but in a moment of less that a little thought, sent his soldiers back to it; assuming his opponent would lie in wait to be captured.
Stalking quietly as he had done many times before, Vess quickly came upon his target's left flank. Disguised partly by bush and by the natural sounds of nature about him, Vess thought it best to strike while the iron was hot and with the element of surprise. Stretching out his hands, the white haired youth aimed three fingers along open air and shot from several meters away. Side by side, the three bullets sped covering at least two bodies abreast, level with where he assumed the top of his opponent's abdomen was. Two bullets left but another three were back and ready to be used, the total came to five.
Would his aim strike true?
