Greenhorn: This is the starting level for spells. Greenhorn spells and abilities are very weak by nature, being able to target no more than one foe at a time and involve things such as projectiles and attacks that cause no real notable damage except minor scratches or bruising.
Feeble: Spells at this rank now become slightly more powerful though can still only affect one target at a time. Offensive spells now have the potential to destroy thin planks of wood or scar enemies and after multiple uses, can even leave someone heavily wounded.
Mediocre: Small area of effect spells now become possible at this rank though it is usually only possible to strike multiple foes if they are very closely clustered together. Offensive spells can rip through thick wooden beams, push back foes several meters and crack bones.
Intermediate: This is when spells start to become truly dangerous. At this rank spells can rupture thick concrete, trees, bend or even snap metals, inflict deep and life threatening wounds and even target large areas the size of a small house.
Destructive: Spells of this rank now contain the power to demolish boulders, leave scars on mountains, incinerate limbs and even cause small tremors. They can even target areas as big as a block of houses.
Devastating: The highest level for spells, boasting enough strength to defeat foes through a single clean hit. Spells of this rank can level forests, disintegrate most structures and can cause wide area of effect damage the size of a large field.
