Whilst, at the above average height of siz feet and one inch, Zuro is not the tallest mage to come across but his overbearing personality combines with his lanky frame to give the impression of someone much taller than he actually is. His height combined with an extremely well toned, but not obtusely muscular, body has made him somewhat of a ladies man outside the Guild Hall. As a player, it would be stupid of him to try it on with those who can blast his ass to kingdom come or worse ne?
Whilst very proud of his appearance, especially those lovely blues behind the glasses - they just draw the women in!; He has but one blemish that he hates about his appearance. The little grouping of hair that falls down across his face. Why not just get it cut off you ask? Well, he doesn't hate it all the time. Only when he's channelling his electricity through his body and when it stands straight up, ruining his sexy look and acting like a minature lightning rod. Most of the time, thankfully, the long strand falls down upon his face just between his eyes, the only long part of his short and spiked black hair.
Given the form his magic takes, it only stands to reason that the clothing he wears must be specially made in order to remain untouched by his own magic. Every single fiber of both his rather spectacular suit jacket and trousers combo, and the hooded top he wears beneath is intertwined with rubber to some degree in order for him to let loose without setting his clothes aflame. Admittedly his underwear is not so lucky and as a result he tends to go commando.
Weapons:
Leather Gloves; Nothing fancy, just a simple pair of gloves to avoid any unnecessary blemishes upon the skin of his fists after pummelling...Whatever needs to be pummelled.
Metal Cane; As skilled as he is in the use of his fists to settle fights, sometimes an opponent can bring a weapon to bear that could be problematic for an unarmed mage no matter what their potency. To solve this, Zuro had a weaponsmith create a very simple steel pole that doubles as a cane for any undercover work or everyday usage. The reason he had it made completely of steel should be obvious, metal is conductive. The cane measures at three feet in length and an inch in diameter. At the very top is a rounded ball that makes for a comfortable grip and a rather hefty weight to whack someone with. Items:
Pocket Watch; As he sometimes likes to pretend he's a gentleman, a pocket watch is a rather useful accessory to have on his person. Also, it does the job rather well and looks pretty. What better reason to have it? [For references sake, it looks exactly like the state alchemist's pocket watch in FMA, and the chain is around a foot in length at its longest, but it's usually inside his inside pocket.]
Magical Clothing of Awesome; That's right true believers! Katsuro has magical clothing that can resist damage! Unfortunately it's only magical, and it doesn't stop the attack going through and actually hitting him at full force, but still! He looks good whilst on his ass! Obviously, getting stabbed or the like will tear it, it's only immune to magical damage. [Can't be bothered finding the references to his clothing throughout the profile to change them, this is the description of his clothings abnormal ability.]
Bio Personality:
To describe every nuance of a man would take far longer than any one person, even a roleplayer with no life such as myself, has to give. But what everyone needs to know does not encompass his every passing thought or mood. What everyone needs to know are the important things, like what drives him and how he treats those around him both new and old. And that won't take very long at all.
The first point worth commenting upon, and often the most apparent when meeting Zuro, is the ease with which he deals with people. Despite his rather solitary upbringing, he has definately bloomed into a likeable and sociable character with age. Always bounding around with an insatiable energy, he makes an effort to keep a smile upon everyones faces be it with a joke, prank or him hurting himself. After all, Fairy Tail isn't just a guild, it's a family. And every family should be full of laughter now shouldn't it?
That's not to say that he can't be serious when he has to be, he has a very solemn face reserved especially for certain occasions, he's just not to fond of using it. Keeping it for only the gravest of situations, you're far more likely to see a grin upon his face than a grimace even in the face of near certain death! Seriously, smiling is pure win.
Another major aspect when it comes to dealing with Katsuro is the ladies. Oh yes, the ageing mage is a complete and utter slut. If it's female, he's gonna try and tap that somehow, he'll find a way. But that's not to say he is without tact or subtlety, he's more than skilled at playing the long game, happy to lay the ground work for the moment and be rewarded for his hard work at a later date. He's a workman, charm and wit being his tools.
But then, as you can probably imagine, being a bit of a ladies man can't really be achieved without a seriously well endowed mind behind it. It takes real thought to be a proper player in the game of hearts, as no two are the same. Zuro is extremely well equipped in this regard. Whilst he outwardly seems impulsive and whimsical, in reality he makes few moves without having thought them through thoroughly and considered the ramifications his actions may have upon himself and those around him. Well, most of the time, sometimes he's just an arse. Such is life!

As with all heroes, there was strange happenings afoot the evening of Zuro's birth. Honestly, the shit hit the fan and whilst he was being forced out of his lovely comfortable resting place within his mothers body, his father was in the process of beating the ever loving crap out of some robbers who decided that it would be a good idea to choose this night to rob the hell out of the Rei's darling little home. Yeah, they were wrong.
So after the excitement of kicking ten shades of shit out of the rather silly lawbreakers and sending them packing, Papa Rei came back in to hold his son for the very first time. Taking the kid from his mother, he named him Katsuro and made a pledge to raise him strong. Like his father had raised him before! Well, that one was gonna lead to a buttload of arguements in the future. Hindsight's a bitch.
Unfortunately for everyone involved in the upbringing of the stud known as Zuro, two very tragic things occured within ten years of his birth. First, when he was eight, his mother died. Nothing fancy, just passed in her sleep one night. Tragic yes, but she had always been of a weak constitution and it was only a matter of time before she carked it really. Trying to move on as best they could, they managed to last another two years before his father finally got fed up with village life just him and his son, and dragged his rather bemused child into the mountains where they led a solitary life.
Living off the land for the next ten years whilst his father taught him to be strong and capable of looking after himself, Katsuro learned one extremely valuable lesson; Being alone sucks donkey dick.
Going into puberty with only your father there for guidance, a man who spent most of his time training you to break rocks with your face and dodge the aforementioned rocks when you failed, was not easy. So on the day of his eighteenth birthday, Katsuro set off into a whole new world; The village down the mountain. As an young adult he had obviously made his own decision about what he should do upon his coming of age, with a great deal of discussion with his father. After all, there was a man who could kick the hell out of him with one hand, despite the arthritis. Surprisingly, his father had backed his decision to go off and see the world. So, shellshocked, Katsuro had moved first down into the town, taking his time to slowly come to terms with the abundance of people he had completely missed for ten long years before moving onto the next, larger town.
It carried on for ten more years, the habit of spending a small amount of time within a city or town before moving on and taking a new city, and it's females by storm. Until finally at the ripe old age of 30, he made his way to Magnolia town where he was attacked by a douchebag with a knife. Putting the man down with a simple combination of electro-shock therapy and a punch to the head, he was observed by Vessalius of Fairy Tail and invited to join and learn more about the magic he'd picked up along his travels, the magic which came so naturally to him. And he did.

Magic Mage Type: Elemental Elemental Affinity: Lightning Spells: (Five greenhorn level spells)
- Spell Name: Elemental Soul
Level: Greenhorn Range: Self Description: This is the main strength of any elemental mage's attacks, their core having a base element that powers them. Drawback: None
- Spell Name: Static
Level: Greenhorn Range: Close Description: By allowing a very small amount of electrical energy build up within his body and then disperse throughout, Katsuro can give anything he touches a small static shock. Nothing damaging in the slightest, but good for a surprise or taking someone off guard with a sudden, if minor and unexpected pain. Very useful for pranks. Drawback: Some view it as a waste of magic as it does no damage whatsoever, which is also it's drawback.
- Spell Name: Bolt
Level: Greenhorn Range: Medium Description: The only long range spell in Katsuro's arsenal is this. Raising his energies up, he quickly throws a lightning bolt of pure magickal energy at an opponent from either his hand or through his cane. Drawback: Must remain on the ground and earthed to avoid being electrocuted by his own spell. Must remain stationary in order to bring his energy up to the needed level for casting the spell, creating a rather large opening for opponents to make use of.
- Spell Name: Flash
Level: Greenhorn Range: Close Description: Sending a pulse of his magickal electricity into his cane, Katsuro is able to generate a flash of light in the immediate area. Can be used to distract or temporarily blind an opponent up to 15metres in any direction, also useful in darkness. Drawback: Useless without his cane or a similar object nearby. Can be blocked by an opponent simply wearing sunglasses or otherwise covering their eyes. The light generated is only powerful enough to blind an opponent for a maximum of two posts, but that's only from point blank range. Most often it only lasts for one post.
- Spell Name: Shock
Level: Greenhorn Range: Close Description: Whilst Static is harmless, the Shock spell is like its angry big brother. Electrical magic charged into a limb or his cane, it is released upon striking an opponent and gives them a nasty shock to say the least. If it strikes an arm or leg, there's a reasonable chance the muscles in the immediate vicinity will cramp up for a time [1 post] rendering them all but useless. If it strikes their chest, it leaves them helpless [can only be a chest strike with opponents permission | personal plot uses only] Drawback: Higher than average energy consumption [Can only be used twice per thread.]
