Bio
Personality:
Mao is a rather shy child, who lets herself come out only in her dancing and martial arts. She was raised to be proper and well disaplined, therefore she is polite and kind to even the meanest of people. Her passion, other than dancing and martial arts, would have to be music. It is what drives her dancing, and what she works with all the time. This being so, Mao took up a job recently at a music store as an employee.
However, this kind and shy side is not Mao's true colors. Firm, graceful, and a perfectionist, Mao comes out best in her action routines. She is quite stubborn, and doesn't let anyone trample over her. Kindness does not mean passive. Mao's newest form of expression is her violin, with which she has six years of practice. The music she plays gives her self satisfaction and helps her along with her magical dancing.

History:
Mao was born in a rather large city that specialized in magic boosting. However, the town didn't have many offensive type mages, and so for as long as she can remember, Mao wanted to be one of the few. On her fifth birthday, Mao recieved her family's winged tattoo on the outside of her left thiegh. The pain was excrushiated for a young girl, but Mao bared it. She had no choice if she wanted to move on in her family. However, she did mope around for a week after getting the sign. Everyone ignored her.
The next day Mao started magic lessons. Since the time she could walk she was put in ballet, so she knew how to dance already. After Mao was able to manifest her magic, she was taught to incorperate it within her dance routines. Eventually, she was coming up with her own moves and paces, but so were everyone else. However, Mao was the first in her class to create an offensive move, and when it came time for class duels, Mao was almost always on top.
Around the same time, Mao was entered into Tae Kwon Do classes as a special dojo within the city. It only took a few years for the young girl to rise in rank, and by nine the girl was a black belt. However, she was not as physically strong as the other black belts, and even lower levels. She learned to rely mostly on her magic, and technique. She was beaten in physical combat many atimes, and this brought her confidence in martial arts way down. Soon after she began to focus mainly on her dancing and took up her violin. Her techinique was perfect, so there wasn't much else she could do if her opponet was skilled and fit.
The next six years consisted mainly of the same thing. However, because of her city's tradition, she could not advance onto another mage level until she was fifteen. Now that she had plenty of spells, skill on her violin, and techinque in the martial arts, Mao has set out to find a guild she likes. And also to advance in her magical studies.
