Mage Type: Seal
History
The very first recorded case of a bind magic user was many hundreds of years ago. His name was Haru Toyozen, a mage who did not have the strongest of offensive spells, nor even the right to call himself a well known hero or villian. In his days he was a simple mage for hire, taking all sorts of odd jobs to help fund his living. Getting jobs however was a simple task, namely due to his ability to create powerful seals and barriers. It was mainly due to this that he was greeted by a young mage and his allies on one dull afternoon. They were a group of Mages who were on a journey to find an ancient weapon so they can stop their enemies from getting their hands on it.
The weapon in question was said to have the potential to destroy the world depending on the users will, exactly why the group needed someone who had the skills to make this powerful weapon unusable. They needed Haru’s skills. Haru accepted the task thinking it would be a simple job, however soon found that this job was going to be a lot tougher than he initially thought. Their enemies were fierce and powerful, wanting the swords power for their own goals, something Haru and the others simply could not agree to.
Finally, it came to the final showdown between the two groups. Haru was kept out of the fighting so that he could seal the weapon away permanently. As the preparations were complete and reached the point where he could seal it away the enemy leader appeared before him. Their leader tried to persuade him to join them and not to seal the weapon and though Haru actually agreed to their ideals, he was a true professional and refused to betray his contractors. The two then battled it out for what seemed like forever, but in the end Haru did defeated him, though not without sustaining his fair share of life threatening wounds. With his last strength, he sealed the sword away into a void where no one could ever reach it again. At that point his group finally manage to catch up with him and with his final breath, while choking on his own blood. He said his final words: "Mission complete".
