Age: 19
Blood Type: A
Level: Greenhorn
Guild: Shark Fang
Description
Height: 6’1
Weight: 160
Appearance:
Jet black hair and pale skin; Shinzu had always been cursed with not having any harsh defining features. His hair for the most part is kept very rough and untidy, with some of the longer strands reaching up to his chin. Even his eyes are no more than a shade of dull maroon, seemingly lacking any signs of pupils as any trace is overshadowed by the strange colour of his unique iris. Under the bounty of moonlight however his iris seems to radiate with crimson, revealing his pupils which have long since become two dark vertical slits.
His outward appearance is that of someone in his late teens, standing at 6’1 in height. Despite the seemingly lack of muscle mass Shinzu bears a slim yet muscular build though this fact is often hidden amongst the folds of his clothing. Though the seasons may change, Shinzu is usually found wearing the same things he was on the previous day which consists of clothing that always shares the same old black motif. This normally includes a dark hooded jacket outlined in brownish fur around the hood and sleeves.
Underneath, Shinzu wears a plain black shirt and lower down baggy trousers. Though loose for comfort, they are just tight fitting enough for them not to become a nuisance when dashing around on the battle field. The sole of his shoes are clad in steel plating, mainly for defensive purposes, allowing him to block sword swings and such even when flat on his back; such being testament to his careful nature. Overall, Shinzu carries himself with an air of mystery around him and is never seen without that same crafty look etched onto his face.
Bio
Personality:
Shinzu is serious and attentive right down to the core. He often gives off an air of calmness and is not the type to show mercy or even hesitate when engaged in a battle. Often quiet and reserved, he only speaks when necessary and even then it’s usually either a commanding or sarcastic comment. He’s not the type to face foes directly and rather prefers to fight at range, taking them down with projectiles and using every ounce of his craftiness to gain the upper hand.
On and off the battle-field he is most often a level-headed strategic type of person. He's someone who takes in the entire situation and weighs the consequences before making a decision; however the harsh reality of the matter is that he often prioritises his objectives over the lives of others. No matter how close, allies are often seen as nothing more than expendable forces, leading to great reluctance from others to ever complete missions with him.
Despite this he does know the value of life, or rather more specifically his own life. Though their are obvious threats and dangers that he comes across daily in his line of trade, Shinzu usually won’t be foolish enough to rush recklessly into a battle that he knows would be impossible to win. At times he will even risk missing vital chances to finish off foes if it means even the slightest amount of danger. Due to this, he is often made out to seem cruel because of his reluctance to help others at times of need.

History:
Shinzu back in his earlier days was an average kid as far as the eye could tell. From the day he started school to when he first started a working lifestyle as a mage for the Shark Fang guild, Shinzu was never a person who stood out or had any special traits or characteristics. Despite his outward appearance however, throughout his childhood, one thing the kid liked to do behind closed doors and away from the eyes of anyone who could judge him was torture small animals.
It wasn’t the actual act of hurting them that Shinzu found pleasure in, but rather the sense in knowing he had the power to either let something live or die. As the young boy became a teen, his personality remained solely the same, excluding his mind which grew more and more corrupt. The thing about Shinzu was that that he always carried an air of sophistication and nobility around him when in public, in fact he had always been popular with everyone which erased any doubts of his oddities, however due to his personality he always rejected anyone that came up to him, whether it was for love or simple friendship.
The more time he spent as a loner however, the more convinced he became that he didn’t need anyone beside himself. Unbeknownst to even his own family, Shinzu was actually suffering from a mental illness called god complex in which the victim truly believes he is god or some kind of higher being who is above the standard rules of society. Due to this, the idea of ending small and meaningless existences soon became boring and was replaced with something far more satisfying; ending a fellow human’s life.
Of course to Shinzu the people he killed were hardly seen as equals in his eyes, to him killing another person was no different to slaughtering cattle for food or even squashing flies simply because they are an annoyance. In his lifetime Shinzu sought new and more convenient ways to murder, a search which eventually lead him to Chrono magic. Refusing to be directly taught under someone, Shinzu instead learned of how to control it through books and by studying the rare few that could perform it, something he appeared to be naturally adept in.
With the ability to erase any evidence pointing towards him, Shinzu grew confident that he truly was a free man, able to do whatever he pleased with little repercussion. Little to his immediate knowledge however, his exploits soon caught the attention of a certain dark guild; Shark Fang. In hopes of recruiting him, Shark Fang sent over two members to help convince Shinzu to join whom had been instructed to use any means they saw fit, whether it meant threatening him or even resorting to force.
Shinzu however was hardly thrilled with the idea of working for someone else, leading him to decline their offer no matter how much it was insisted upon. After three long hours of waiting, the guild heard no reply from their two lackeys whom appeared to have vanished without a trace. Upon finally deciding to send someone to search for them, Shinzu turned up at the entrance of the hideout, his clothes soaked in blood and his body littered in wounds. Behind him stood a trail of red and two unidentifiable corpses which seemed to have been dragged alongside him.
Looking almost half dead, Shinzu peered into the hideout before speaking with the last ounce of breath in his lungs. “What amusing faces. I look forward to the day, where in you all are bowing to me as your leader.” And with those words Shinzu collapsed, a marker to his first day as a member of the Shark Fang guild.
