Basic
Name: Hunan Namishiki
Nickname: None (can be known as Hun-kun by special few)
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Blood Type: AB
Level: Greenhorn (at the moment)
Guild: Fairy Tail
Description
Height: 5'8
Weight: 157lbs
Appearance:
Hunan is a fair-skinned young man with extremely pale, almost silvery, blue eyes. His silver hair is cut very short in the back with long, jaw length, shaggy bangs framing his face. He has a part above his right eye, so the left part of his bangs sometimes falls into his face (especially when he has been sweating a lot).
His most noticable feature is his eyes, which he inherited from his mother. His hair texture and color is that of his father's. In body, he is very much like his mother, being only two inches taller than she was before she died and being only a few pounds heavier. For this reason, he can easily be confused as a woman with short hair from behind.
He is generally seen wearing a dark green shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, black "fingerless" gloves (he cut off the fingers), black pants (average, boot-cut jeans) and black combat boots with silver buckles. His "jewelry" is composed of a silver belt with the symbol for Pluto etched into the buckle and a silver ring wrapped around his middle finger (right hand). In some guilds, he wears a long, black cloak with a hood.
(here is a picture of him drawn by me)
Weapons: None
Items: Magic Necklace
Bio
Personality:
Hunan can be seen as a reserved and cautious individual. When he works, he gets his job done and moves onto the next job. He is recommended for jobs that need to be done quickly and cleanly. When not working, he is sitting in a corner, leaning his back against a wall, and scribbling in a small, red book that he always keeps on his person.
He stays pretty neutral when communicating, generally speaking only when spoken to unless it is required for a job. When he does speak with others, he is fairly cordial. He can become quite friendly with those he regularly talks to.
He has a slight feminine edge to him, having hobbies like cooking, laundry, sewing and even tending to plants flowers and herbs. He is also fairly fashion conscious, but tries to keep his personal, fashion-related thoughts to himself. He regularly makes random kinds of candy that he will share with children so that they won't bug him.
Likes: Poetry, Cats, Fuzzy insects, Lizards, Rich colors, Neon colors, Sukiyaki, Dark Grey, Inari, Herbs, Trees, Rainstorms, Clouds, Fog/Mist, Metal (as in the substance, not music)
Dislikes: Nosy People, People who call him Hun-kun loudly in public, Biting insects/spiders, Co-ed bathing, Smoke, Nudity, REALLY bright sunlight
Jobs: Mage and (part time) Herbalist
History:
He doesn't remember anything from his past before 10. He knows little of his relatives, but has been acknowledged by a few, so he isn't a complete orphan (he just doesn't remember them well). His first memory is waking up in the middle of a deserted swamp. He wandered until he got to the coast, where he found a small port town and gained shelter by working in a fruit stall in the market to earn his keep. Hunan knew he had magical abilities for as long as he can remember. He has always been able to hear, smell, feel and see things that others cannot (or at least before them). He initially made no special use of his enhanced abilities and tried to live life normally.
The first guild be came across was Hybrid Nomad (long, long former and made up haha) when he was 13 and his occupation as a Mage began. He was mentored through his teen years by HB's master, who taught him illusion magic as well as sharpening his already heightened senses. He struggled with the illusion magic, due to lack of focus, but got it in the end.
After Hybrid Nomad dissolved (the master died and no one was able to continue managing the guild as efficiently), Hunan continued on to another guild, not finding other guilds that felt the same. Feeling indifferent with the guild members, he developed the hobby of guild-hopping to entertain himself. He stays in a guild for no longer than 4 years (and that's if the guild really interests him).
After becoming disinterested with yet another guild, he came across Fairy Tail while tracking a target on mission. He was overwhelmed by the presence of the guild and found it to make him rather nostalgic of Hybrid Nomad. He left shortly afterwards, abandoning his current job, and left his previous guild, leaving to join Fairy Tail. He is currently the average guild member of Fairy Tail.

Mage Type: Illusionary (was a Dark Dragon Slayer, but forgot his powers and can no longer do it I have no intention of bringing his memory back in a tight spot, that's just lame)
Elemental Affinity: Dark
Spells:
Alright!! Now I apologize in advance in Illusion mages already exist... I didn't find any in the mage types, so I made my own. If I need to submit that mage type before you accept my character, that is fine.

Magic
Mage Type: Illusionary (was a Dark Dragon Slayer, but forgot his powers and can no longer do it I have no intention of bringing his memory back in a tight spot, that's just lame)
Elemental Affinity: Dark
Spells:
- Spell Name: Mystery Man
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Self
Description: In order to preform the spell, the caster has to have a specific physical form in mind. They then call out the name of the spell. A blue and black seal forms under their feet and a small column of black smoke billows out from the ground, twisting around them before disappearing. When the smoke disappears, they look exactly as they envisioned in their mind. They did not transform into said person, but the smoke previously there has created a barrier-like picture surrounding the caster.
Drawback:
1.The spell will only work on the caster; it cannot be casted on others.
2. The caster must remain calm throughout the duration of the spell; if negative feeling arise, the spell will dissipate.
3. The caster cannot cast an illusion to look like someone else. The spell will not work if the caster has seen the desired appearance on another being.
4. The desired appearance has to be human.
5. Anyone who makes physical contact with the caster can see their original form.
6. The air around the caster during the spell can be very cold. - Spell Name: Distort
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Long only
Description: In order to preform the spell, the caster has to have the target's face in mind. They then call out the name of the spell. A sharp ringing noise will sound in the target's ears and then all of their senses will crash. The target will not be able to see, hear, smell, taste or feel during the duration of the spell.
Drawback:
1. The spell's duration depends on the caster's strength (for a greenhorn... that duration would be about 5 minutes tops)
2. The spell does not work on a mage with heightened senses or similar powers.
3. The caster cannot be moved or cast another spell while the spell is in use. If they do give complete focus, the spell will dissipate.
4. The target cannot be within 12 meters of the caster.
5. The spell can only be used on humans and animals. - Spell Name: Doppelganger
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Self
Description: Procedure is exactly like Mystery Man except the smoke is white. This spell only allows the caster to mimic the appearance of another person. The once-present smoke is also making a barrier-like picture.
Drawback:
1. The person whose appearance is being mimicked is not affected by the spell.
2. The voice and other characteristics (like stand or walk)
of the caster are not affected.
3. Once a person realizes the caster's true identity, the spell no longer works.
4. Like with Mystery Man, negative feelings will cancel the spell.
5. The target of mimicry has to be human. - Spell Name: Conceal
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Self-Long
Description: In order to preform the spell, the caster has to have physical contact with the target (either a comrade or themselves). They then call out the name of the spell. A small, white seal forms above the head of the target and their whole body disappears.
Drawback:
1. The spell's duration depends on the caster's strength (for a greenhorn... that duration would be about 4 minutes tops)
2. If the target is a comrade, they have to be within 21 meters of the caster of the spell will dissipate.
3. If the caster falls unconscious or loses focus, the spell will cancel.
4. Those who touch the invisible person will become immune to the spell.
5. The spell will not protect the target from mages with heightened senses or similar powers.
6. While the target may not be visual, they can still be detected by hearing, smell and the other senses. - Spell Name: Grim Goodbye (ya, the name is off of the RJA song)
Level: Greenhorn
Range: Close-Medium
Description: The only offensive spell. The caster starts by facing the target and raising their arms out directly in front of them, palms up. The caster than says the spells name as spreads arms out to sides, turning palms down as they go. Their respected element shoots into the earth from their soles, making a circle (or oval) around the caster and the target, making a large bubble around them. While the spell commences, the target will suffer from anything the caster can imagine in vivid detail. There are, of course, limitations to what can occur and what cannot. These limits depend on the power level and mental vividness of the caster. A greenhorn, for example, can imagine the target's arm being ripped off (for example), but the worst that will occur will be a strained shoulder muscle. A high-level mage may be able to make the above scenario happen.
Drawback:
1. Due to being so draining, the spell can only be used once or twice during a thread (medium-level and under can only do it once, while a high-level mage will be able to do it twice).
2. A mage of a level higher than the caster will be able to break in and out of the spell.
3. For lower-leveled mages, the spell does more mental damage than physical. A very high level might be able to kill if desired.
How you did you find us?:
I was searching on Google for an RP site and here you were!
Alright!! Now I apologize in advance in Illusion mages already exist... I didn't find any in the mage types, so I made my own. If I need to submit that mage type before you accept my character, that is fine.
